The Philips Sonicare comes with a charging glass that can be placed on the bathroom counter at any time of the day or night, plugged in, and charged.
In fact, I keep the glass holder on my counter and use it to store my toothbrush when I’m not using it.
What Are The Reasons If My Philips Sonicare Not Charging?
After using the Philips Sonicare toothbrushes, if you got any problems I have listed some of the reasons. Check one of these for troubleshooting:
Not Using Original Charger:
Be sure to charge your Philips Sonicare toothbrush with the original charger that comes with it. The charger that came with your toothbrush may not work with another Philips Sonicare toothbrush. Different chargers are required for the Diamond Clean and Sonicare 9900 Prestige series.
Despite the fact that the chargers look identical, they are not replaceable. The HX6110 and HX6100 charger versions are interchangeable and interoperable via handles that use one of these two chargers.
The first step is to check that the plug you are using is actually operational. It is possible that all your equipment is in working order and the plug is the problem. Using a separate device in the same socket is the best method to test this.
If another device isn’t working from this outlet, you know the problem isn’t with the toothbrush or charger, although it may indicate that you need an electrician to inspect the outlet. If another appliance, on the other hand, is running, you will need to perform additional troubleshooting.
Incorrect Placement of Toothbrush:
It may seem obvious, but have you checked if your toothbrush is properly charged?
Have you checked if the charger is even and upright and not at an angle if it is a normal charger?
Have you checked if your toothbrush is centered when charged via a charging glass or wireless charging station?
Depending on what you have, make sure the bottom of the toothbrush is positioned in the center of the wireless charging station or charging glass.
The toothbrush is not fully charged:
Charge your toothbrush by placing the handle on the charger. When the battery light flashes or a buzzer sounds, your toothbrush will be charged. Your Philips Sonicare should be on charging approximately for 24 hours. It is typical for the flashing light to go out at some point during charging.
If the charger cannot charge a toothbrush, the charger may be defective. Place your toothbrush on the charger to see if the charger is working. If the toothbrush battery light is not lit, the charger should be replaced.
If the charger works well, the toothbrush battery may be defective and needs to be changed. Following are some steps to change or replace the broken battery
To remove the brush head, remove it from the handle.
Open the seal with the flat edge of a metal or nylon spudger between the seal and the body of the toothbrush. Continue along the entire edge until the seal is partially visible.
Press the shaft against a stable, flat surface to apply pressure. Continue to apply pressure until all the interior electronics are exposed.
Use the O-ring to grab the circular plastic base and pull it outwards.
Remove the two closures that attach the cap to the end of the inside.
Remove the battery from the circuit board.
Replace the old battery with a new one. Install the battery by welding it in.
One problem may be that you have misjudged the charging time of the Sonicare toothbrush. If the plug works and you use the correct charger, try charging the toothbrush in the correct position for 24 hours. During charging, most Sonicare toothbrushes have a flashing indicator light.
Some, such as the DailyClean 1100 model HX34, may contain a beep to indicate the same. When loaded correctly, it emits two beeps. If the toothbrush has a flashing charging light, it is important to remember that it may not flash during charging, but that does not mean that it does not work.
Schedule the entire period and it will be fully charged after 24 hours. Read more if you still have problems charging your toothbrush.
Other chargers or metal surfaces can sometimes interfere with the charging capacity of the toothbrush. To see if this matters, try moving the charger to a new area. If the charger is on a metal surface, move it to another (non-metallic) location.
Moreover, if there were other chargers or devices near your Sonicare toothbrush charger, consider moving it to a location where there are no other fees or appliances. See below if the recent location doesn’t seem to have had an impact.
Your charger may be disturbed by metal surfaces or other chargers. Make sure the charger is not near other chargers or on a metal surface. Try again by moving the charger to a new location.
To check if this makes a difference, try moving your charger to a new area. If your charger is on a metal surface, move it to another (non-metallic) location.
If there are other chargers or devices near your Sonicare toothbrush charger, you should take it to a place where there are no other charges or devices.

If you have checked all of the above reasons and come to an end that there’s no such issue, then you have to replace your toothbrush. It means you only have the end option that is you have to purchase a new brush.
